Brussels, 23 November 2023<\/strong> – PingCAP is the newest member of the EU Cloud CoC General Assembly. This addition further expands the initiative\u2019s membership constellation, fostering cohesion and accountability across the international cloud environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given the persistent challenges when it comes to GDPR implementation, approved codes of conduct appear as key tools to specify regulatory requirements, fomenting transparency and trust. Such instruments have the potential to enable the harmonization of effective technical and organizational measures and by that to ensure the protection of data subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a pioneering initiative, the EU Cloud CoC has been successfully concretizing the benefits of codes of conduct in the cloud environment since its approval by European data protection authorities in 2021. In this context, the Code has established a benchmark that largely supports cloud users to make well-informed decisions while creating the necessary guidance for providers to efficiently operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, PingCAP joins the Code\u2019s General Assembly and showcases its commitment to ensuring the robust protection of personal data as well as to actively contribute to the building of trust in the cloud. This milestone attests to the added value of this tool and to its capacity to gather a broad and diverse industry around a common \u2013 and crucial \u2013 goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
