Calling all developers, hackers, and data innovators! TiDB AgentX Hackathon 2025 is your chance to unleash what’s possible at the intersection of distributed SQL and generative AI.

This year, we want multi-step AI agents that demonstrate real-world workflows. But we also want to ensure you have the inspiration you need to quickly get hacking.

In this webinar, PingCAP Developer Advocate Chris Dabatos, Kimi Head of Developer Relations Feihu Tang, and Sheet0 Head of Engineering Yanshu Wang will show you how to build your very own sample semantic Q&A app while integrating AI-powered tooling.

You’ll learn:

  • How to quickly use K2 open-source model to analyze your local multimedia files and connect it to TiDB Cloud
  • How to scaffold code, validate changes, and pull in docs as you type with Kiro, a newly-released AI IDE.
  • How Sheet0 uses AI agents to understand your data requests, autonomously navigate web sources, and deliver precise, anticipatory insights.

Whether you’re prototyping a semantic Q&A assistant or streamlining ops with AI-native tooling, this live demo webinar is about going from idea to impact with no babysitting clusters or wrangling microservices.

Speakers

Chris Dabatos, Developer Advocate, PingCAP

Chris Dabatos is a developer advocate at PingCAP, where he focuses on distributed databases and helping teams scale without overcomplicating things. He spends a lot of time building demos, speaking at meetups and conferences, and working with open source projects that blend AI and data infrastructure. He’s big on showing, not just telling. So expect real world examples and maybe a few stories about what didn’t work. Outside of work, he runs a YouTube channel, helps organize hackathons, and lives in Las Vegas.

Yanshu Wang , Head of Algorithm Engineering, Sheet0

Yanshu Wang is the Head of Algorithm Engineering at Sheet0, a data data extraction and analysis agent platform. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University and completed postdoctoral research at Peking University, with expertise in AI systems, agentic AI solutions, and distributed computing. At Sheet0, he leads the development of next-generation intelligent automation technologies that transform data processing through advanced agent-based systems.

Feihu Tang , Head of Developer Relations, Kimi

Feihu Tang is the Head of Developer Relations at Kimi and a former Google Engineer. Kimi is powered by Moonshot’s proprietary LLM. He is a gold medalist in the ACM/ICPC Asia Regional Contest, champion of Microsoft’s “Beauty of Programming” Challenge, and winner of the inaugural Wanxiang Blockchain Labs Token Economy Design Competition.
