HTAP Summit 2024 Call for Proposals (CFP) is Now Open!

HTAP Summit, the only industry-leading conference focused on Hybrid Transactional/Analytical Processing (HTAP), has officially opened its 2024 call for proposals.

Now in its third year, HTAP Summit, organized by PingCAP, gathers database experts, innovators, and enthusiasts to share knowledge and experience about distributed database architecture, real-time operational intelligence and ways modern data technologies can drive AI innovation.

“HTAP Summit has quickly become one of the year’s premier events for engineers, architects, and tech executives,” said Max Liu, CEO of PingCAP. “With a focus on scaling large data volumes, this year’s event promises to be the most exciting yet. Attendees will hear about new ways to put distributed SQL to work in the enterprise, bringing the latest AI innovations together with the best of HTAP technology.” 

HTAP Summit 2024 will feature an array of keynotes, panels, and roundtable discussions. Attendees will have a chance to network with industry experts and peers. Past speakers have included leaders from Databricks, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Meta, and Menlo Ventures. 

When is HTAP Summit 2024 Taking Place?

This year’s Summit will take place on September 11-12, 2024, at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA. The event theme is “What’s Next for SQL @ Scale”. You can save the date here!

What Kind of Talks are Most Relevant?

Prospective speakers can submit talks on a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to):

• Use cases and case studies of HTAP in action:
  • Innovations in scaling large data volumes
  • Best practices for petabyte-level data storage
  • How to enable real-time operational intelligence
• Maximizing artificial intelligence (AI) innovations
• Database performance optimization and benchmarking

How Can I Submit My Proposal?

To submit a proposal, email pingcapevent@pingcap.com by July 5th, 2024 with the subject line “Call for papers submission.” Each accepted talk will be allocated a 40-minute time slot, including time for Q&A.
