TiDB SCaiLE 2025, our new global conference for builders, operators, and AI infrastructure leaders shaping data-intensive systems, has officially opened its 2025 call for proposals (CFP).

Formerly known as HTAP Summit, we’ve rebranded the event to reflect a bolder vision: helping leading companies scale smarter and build faster across distributed SQL, cloud-native architecture, and GenAI applications

“TiDB SCaiLE 2025 is a global stage for the builders pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with data,” said Max Liu, CEO of PingCAP. “As AI transforms how we interact with software, we believe distributed SQL will be at the heart of scalable, intelligent systems. We’re excited to welcome the community to share ideas, exchange insights, and shape the future of infrastructure together.”

We’re seeking original, industry-driven talks that bring real-world insight, architectural depth, and technical clarity. If you’ve built something worth sharing, this is your stage.

When is TiDB SCaiLE 2025 Taking Place?

This year’s event will take place on October 7-8, 2025 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA. The event theme is “Scaling Data. Accelerating AI. Enabling You.” You can save the date here!

Why Speak at TiDB SCaiLE 2025?

TiDB SCaiLE 2025 is a unique gathering of engineers, architects, SREs, and data leaders at the forefront of distributed systems innovation.

This year’s event sets the stage for the conversations that matter most: how we build intelligent, resilient, and scalable systems for a world driven by real-time decisions, AI-native applications, and cloud-native architectures.

Speaking at the conference is a chance to:

  • Share hard-won lessons and practical insights from real-world production environments
  • Inspire peers across industries with novel use cases and technical breakthroughs
  • Connect with the global TiDB community and leaders shaping the next wave of scalable infrastructure

What Kind of Talks are Most Relevant?

Our focus is on real-world content. Whether you’re a first-time speaker or a seasoned presenter, we’re looking for substance, clarity, and impact.

We welcome submissions including (but not limited to):

  • How TiDB fits into your stack—or why you evaluated it
  • Distributed SQL in production: What worked, what didn’t
  • Data architectures supporting AI-native applications
  • Scaling storage and compute independently
  • Platform engineering practices that improved reliability
  • Lessons from outages, performance tuning, or migration projects
  • Real-time analytics pipelines in transactional systems

We also welcome panels and customer–partner co-presentations.

How Can I Submit My Proposal?

To submit a proposal, complete the form on our event website no later than August 8th, 2025. You can contact tidbscaile@pingcap.com with any questions related to your proposal submissions.

Each accepted talk will be allocated a 30-minute time slot, including time for Q&A.

Let’s shape the future of scale—together. We look forward to seeing you in October!
